What will you do:

  • Design, modelling, and simulation of mechanical systems for data centers (both new construction projects and retrofits) including HVAC, Piping, Plumbing, Condensation Systems, Cooling Towers, Chilled Water Systems, Boilers, Humidification Systems
  • Gain a thorough understanding and delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule
  • Understand and expedite engineering deliverables for projects
  • Develop and maintain the project scope of work documentation and revisions as required during the design evolution
  • Prepare detailed design mechanical drawings
  • Design highly energy-efficient and sustainable systems
  • Utilize computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
  • Understand mechanical engineering codes and safety standards
  • Use BIM tools to virtually construct mechanical systems and coordinate with other disciplines using tools such as Autodesk Revit

What we expect:

  • A bachelor’s/master's degree in engineering
  • Proven working experience in mechanical engineering
  • Written and spoken English B1 and higher
  • Hands-on experience using tools and software such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • Experience with building and engineering systems
  • Experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics software
  • Previous experience in the construction industry in the United States will be considered an asset but not required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly while meeting project deadlines
  • Self-starters that are ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
  • Excellent communication skills
