We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team, with a focus on supporting the design and construction of mission-critical facilities - specifically data centers, where reliability, redundancy, and precision are paramount. This role involves estimating and certain preconstruction activities for electrical infrastructure for highly technical and large-scale environments, including medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems, backup generators, UPS systems, lighting, grounding, and fire and life safety systems.
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be deeply involved in the preconstruction phase, working alongside design engineers and project stakeholders to shape budgets, influence design decisions, and contribute to value engineering efforts. You'll be reviewing technical documentation and construction drawings to produce accurate cost estimates, ensuring that all aspects of the electrical scope are clearly defined and accounted for. This is a high-impact role for estimating and preconstruction related to redundant systems, scalable infrastructure, and the unique requirements of high-uptime environments such as Tier III and IV data centers.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing large-scale technical facility projects and thrives in fast-paced, detail-driven settings. Familiarity with estimating practices specific to mission-critical electrical systems is essential.

What You Will Do:
- Review electrical design documents and perform detailed quantity take-offs.
- Estimate costs for materials, labor, and subcontractor work related to power, lighting, grounding, fire alarms, and low-voltage systems.
- Work closely with electrical engineers, project managers, and procurement to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
- Identify potential cost risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Support preconstruction and design-build efforts by providing input on constructability and budget alignment.
What We Expect:
- 10+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably on mission-critical or large-scale commercial projects.
- Familiarity with NEC, local codes, and mission-critical electrical systems (e.g., redundant power, UPS, PDUs).
- Proficiency in Quantity Takeoff, Accubid, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel, and tools like ConEst, or Trimble.
- Strong math, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Data Center Experience is preferred but not required. Other mission-critical experience (e.g., hospitals, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, etc.) is also considered.
- Certifications: PMP, PE, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and engineers.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
